Possible Causes
Blocked pressure chamber on outer tub, Clogged or kinked pressure hose, Defective electronic pressure sensor, Wiring fault to pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap. Water may spill when hoses are removed.
- Locate pressure system: Find the small rubber hose running from the outer tub to the pressure sensor (usually mounted near the top of the cabinet).
- Check hose: Remove the hose from the sensor and tub. Blow gently through it to ensure it is clear. Clean any soap residue or lint from the tub connection/pressure chamber.
- Inspect sensor: Ensure the pressure sensor connector is secure and free of corrosion.
- Test and replace: If the hose and chamber are clear but F55 persists, the pressure sensor may be defective and should be replaced with the correct Miele part. If replacement does not help, the control board may be at fault.
