Washer-dryer displays safety or waterproof system error, may not operate

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap immediately. Risk of water damage and electric shock.

• Check for leaks: Carefully pull the machine forward and inspect underneath for water. If there is a base tray, look for standing water and a raised float.
• Dry the base: If water is present, tilt the machine slightly and soak up water with towels or a sponge. Allow the base to dry completely.
• Identify leak source: Inspect hoses, pump, door seal, and detergent drawer for signs of leakage. Run a short cycle while observing (with panels removed only if you are competent and it is safe).
• Repair leaks: Replace leaking hoses, door seals, or pump assemblies. Ensure hose clamps are tight.
• Reset system: Once the leak is fixed and the base is dry, reconnect power and test. If F63 persists without water present, the float switch or control board may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
