Safety first: Disconnect power. Dryer components can be very hot; allow full cooling before work.

Clean filters: Remove and clean the lint filter and any accessible air intake filters according to the user manual.
Check airflow: Ensure the air path from drum to condenser and exhaust is not blocked by lint or foreign objects.
Access dryer unit: Remove the top and rear or side panels to access the dryer heater and fan assembly.
Inspect heater and thermostats: Look for burned heater coils or tripped thermostats. Test for continuity with a multimeter and replace any open components.
Check fan motor: Spin the fan by hand; it should move freely. If seized or noisy, replace the fan motor.
Professional diagnosis: If all components test good, the control board's dryer circuit may be defective and requires service.
