Possible Causes
Loose pressure hose, Faulty pressure switch, Moisture or condensation in pressure hose, PCB misreading pressure signal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the top cover or handling wiring.
Step-by-step checks:
- 1. Reset and test: Disconnect power for 5 minutes, then run a rinse and spin cycle to see if the error reoccurs. Intermittent E10 can be caused by temporary pressure hose blockage.
- 2. Inspect pressure hose connection: Remove the top cover and locate the pressure switch and its hose. Ensure the hose is firmly attached at both the switch and tub ends and that there are no splits or kinks.
- 3. Clear condensation or water: If the hose contains standing water or condensation, remove it and blow it clear. Refit securely.
- 4. Test pressure switch: With the machine unplugged, remove the switch and test with a multimeter while gently blowing into the port. Confirm that the contacts change state as pressure increases. Replace the switch if it does not respond correctly.
- 5. Wiring and PCB: Check the wiring from the pressure switch to the PCB. If all hardware is good but E10 persists, the PCB may be misinterpreting the signal and require replacement.
