• 2. Remove debris: Check the folds of the seal for coins, bra wires, or other objects that can cause leaks. Clean with warm soapy water.
• 3. Check retaining bands: Ensure the outer metal or plastic band holding the seal to the front panel is tight and correctly seated. Refit or replace if loose.
• 4. Detergent use: Use Montpellier-recommended HE detergent and correct dosing. Over-foaming can cause water and suds to escape through the door.
• 5. Replace seal: If the gasket is damaged, remove the front and inner retaining bands, pull off the old seal, and fit a new Montpellier-compatible door gasket, aligning the drain holes at the bottom.
