• Clean moisture sensors: Locate the metal strips or bars inside the drum (often near the door opening). Clean them with a soft cloth and mild detergent to remove fabric softener residue.
• Avoid very small loads: Auto-dry may not work correctly with one or two small items. Add more items or use timed drying.
• Inspect wiring: If accessible, check the sensor wiring from the drum to the PCB for damage. Repair as needed.
• Use timed dry as workaround: Until the sensor system is repaired, use a timed drying program to achieve desired dryness.
