Washer-dryer does not fill with water; cycle stops early and E02 is displayed.

Safety: Unplug the appliance and close the water taps before disconnecting hoses.

• Check water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps (if fitted) are fully open and household water pressure is adequate. Try running a nearby tap to confirm good flow.
• Clean inlet filters: Turn off taps, unscrew the inlet hoses from the rear of the New World washer-dryer, and inspect the small mesh filters inside the valve inlets. Remove debris with a soft brush and rinse under running water. Refit hoses securely.
• Inspect inlet hoses: Check for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage. Replace damaged hoses.
• Test inlet valve: With the machine unplugged, access the top or rear panel to reach the water inlet valve assembly. Check the coil connectors are secure. Measure coil resistance with a multimeter; an open circuit coil indicates a failed valve that must be replaced.
• Check pressure switch and hose: Locate the water level pressure switch (usually near the top of the cabinet) and its thin rubber hose running to the bottom of the tub. Ensure the hose is not split, kinked, or blocked with soap residue. Clean or replace as needed.
• Run a test fill: Reassemble, restore power and water, and run a rinse cycle. If E02 returns despite good supply and a new valve, the main control PCB may not be energising the valve correctly and should be checked by a technician.
