Possible Causes
Open or shorted motor windings, Failed motor triac or inverter module on PCB, Loose motor connector, Broken drive belt causing abnormal load detection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before any internal inspection.
- Check drive belt: Remove the rear panel and confirm the belt is correctly seated on both the motor pulley and drum pulley. If the belt is broken or heavily worn, replace it with a compatible New World belt.
- Inspect motor connector: Ensure the multi-pin plug on the motor is fully engaged and free of corrosion or burn marks. Clean contacts and reseat.
- Test motor windings: With the motor disconnected, measure resistance across the main windings. Very low (short) or infinite (open) readings indicate a failed motor that must be replaced.
- Visual PCB check: Access the main control PCB (usually behind the front control panel or rear casing). Look for burnt tracks or components in the motor drive area. Do not attempt component-level repair unless qualified; replace the PCB as a complete unit if damage is evident.
- Run diagnostic: After replacing the belt or motor, reassemble and run a short cycle. If E07 returns, the PCB motor drive circuit is likely defective and should be replaced by a professional.
