Possible Causes
Damaged or torn door gasket, Blocked door seal drain holes, Overfilling due to pressure switch fault, Leaking detergent drawer or housing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance and mop up water to prevent slipping.
- Inspect door seal: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket for tears, holes, or heavy mould. Check the small drain holes at the bottom of the seal for blockages and clear them.
- Check for over-sudsing: Excess foam can leak past the seal. Reduce detergent dosage and run a rinse cycle.
- Inspect detergent drawer: Pull out the drawer and clean any caked detergent. Check the housing for cracks and ensure the drawer is not overfilled.
- Replace seal if damaged: If the gasket is torn, replace it with a New World-compatible door seal, ensuring the retaining bands are correctly refitted.
