Possible Causes

Blocked or kinked pressure hose, Faulty water level (pressure) sensor, Air leak in pressure hose connection, Control board sensing circuit fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the top or rear panels.

  • Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top panel. Locate the small rubber or plastic hose running from the bottom of the tub to the pressure sensor. Check for kinks, pinches, or cracks. Re-seat both ends securely.
  • Clear blockages: Detach the hose from the sensor and gently blow through it toward the tub to clear soap residue or lint. Do not use sharp tools that could puncture the hose.
  • Check for water in hose: If water is trapped in the hose near the sensor, drain it and ensure the hose path allows air movement.
  • Test cycle: Reassemble and run a small load. If E7 returns, the pressure sensor may be faulty.
  • Replace pressure sensor: Disconnect the wiring connector and hose from the sensor, remove mounting screws, and install a compatible NewAir water level sensor. If the error persists after replacement, the main control board may need professional evaluation.
