Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter or condenser, Restricted airflow, Weak heating element, Faulty moisture sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning internal components.
- Clean lint filter thoroughly: Remove lint and wash the filter with warm water if coated. Dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clean condenser (ventless models): Remove the condenser unit and rinse under running water to clear lint. Allow to dry fully.
- Do not overload: Dry smaller loads and remove some items if the drum is tightly packed.
- Check moisture sensor strips: Locate the metal sensor strips inside the drum (usually near the door). Clean them with a soft cloth and mild detergent to remove residue that can affect sensing.
- If still poor: The heater or circulation fan may be weak and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
