• Check for obstructions: Examine the door gasket and lock area for clothing, coins, or debris preventing full closure. Remove any obstruction and try again.
• Test the door lock: With power disconnected, remove the front retaining spring of the door seal and gently pull back the gasket to access the door lock assembly. Check the wiring connector for looseness or burning. Reseat the connector firmly.
• Continuity test: If you have a multimeter, remove the door lock assembly and test its terminals for continuity according to a Proline-compatible wiring diagram. If open circuit where it should be closed, replace the door lock assembly.
• Control board check: If a known-good door lock and wiring are in place but E01 persists, the main control board may be faulty. Visual inspection for burnt tracks or components can confirm suspicion, but replacement is typically required rather than repair.
