Possible Causes

Leaking door seal, Split drain hose or tub-to-pump hose, Loose hose clamp, Cracked tub or pump housing triggering base float switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply immediately. Mop up any visible water to prevent slipping.

Step-by-step checks:

  • Inspect base tray: Remove the lower front or rear panel to check for water in the base. Many Proline combos use a float switch in the base tray; dry the tray completely and reset the float.
  • Check hoses: Examine the drain hose, tub-to-pump hose, and recirculation hoses for splits, cracks, or loose clamps. Tighten or replace as needed.
  • Door seal: Inspect the door gasket for tears, holes, or deformation. Replace the seal if damaged.
  • Pump and tub: Look for drips around the pump housing and tub seams during a test fill (with panels off but all electrical parts protected from splashes). Replace any leaking component.

When to call a technician: If the leak source is not obvious or involves the main tub, professional diagnosis and repair are recommended.
