Check fan operation: During a test dry (qualified persons only), verify that the dryer fan runs. If not, test the fan motor and replace if defective.
Test thermostats: Check continuity of overheat thermostats on the heater housing. Replace any that are open circuit.
Control board: If overheating recurs despite good airflow and sensors, the PCB may be overdriving the heater and should be replaced.
