How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close water taps before disconnecting hoses.
- Verify water supply: Confirm that the household stopcock and the individual taps feeding the washer-dryer are fully open. Check for frozen pipes in cold weather.
- Clean inlet filters and hoses: Remove hoses from the rear of the machine, clean the mesh filters, and ensure hoses are not kinked or blocked.
- Check for leaks in pressure hose: Remove the top cover and inspect the small pressure hose from the tub to the pressure sensor. Replace if cracked or perished.
- Test inlet valve and sensor (advanced): Use a multimeter to check the inlet valve coils and pressure sensor according to Rangemaster specifications. Replace any components that test faulty.
- Run a test cycle: After reassembly, run a rinse or quick wash to confirm that E10 is cleared.
