Safety first: Unplug the appliance before adjusting hinges or removing panels.

• Check door alignment: Close the door slowly and observe if it lines up evenly with the cabinet. If it sags, the hinge screws may be loose. Tighten hinge screws on the door and cabinet.
• Inspect door catch: Examine the plastic catch on the door for wear or cracks. Replace if it does not engage firmly with the lock.
• Door lock mounting: Access the door lock from behind the front panel or via the door seal. Ensure the lock is firmly screwed to the cabinet and not moving when the door closes.
• Door gasket: Check the rubber door seal for bulges, foreign objects, or deformation that could prevent full closure. Clean and, if necessary, replace the gasket.
• Test operation: After adjustments, close the door firmly and start a short cycle to confirm that E17 is cleared.
