Possible Causes
Blocked condenser or air ducts, Failed dryer heater element, Faulty dryer thermostat or NTC, Overloaded drum during drying
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before accessing dryer components.
- Reduce load size: For drying, fill the drum only about half full so air can circulate.
- Clean filters and condenser: Clean any lint filters and, if accessible, remove and wash the condenser unit.
- Check heater operation: During a drying cycle, carefully feel the top or side of the cabinet after several minutes; it should feel warm. If not, test the dryer heater and thermostats as described in E08.
- Inspect ducts and fan: Remove panels to check for lint build-up and ensure the dryer fan is running freely.
