How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Stop the cycle, unplug the appliance, and allow it to cool. Risk of burns and fire exists.
- Reduce load: Dry smaller loads to allow better airflow.
- Clean ducts and filters: Follow the cleaning steps for dryer ducts, condenser, and filters as in E08/E12.
- Check dryer fan: Ensure the fan motor runs during drying. If not, test and replace the fan motor.
- Thermostat check: Test dryer thermostats and thermal cut-outs for correct operation. Replace any that are stuck closed or open as appropriate.
