Poor Spin Performance
Washer-dryer leaves clothes very wet at the end of the cycle
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Blocked drain pump or hose, Unbalanced load causing spin reduction, Incorrect spin speed setting, Worn motor brushes or weak motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before cleaning filters or hoses.
- Check spin settings: Ensure the selected program has a high enough spin speed and that any 'reduced spin' options are not enabled.
- Clean pump filter: Open the pump filter flap, drain residual water, and clean the filter thoroughly.
- Redistribute load: If heavy items are bunched, redistribute and run a spin-only cycle.
- Inspect motor and belt: If the drum struggles to reach full speed, check the drive belt tension and motor brushes (if fitted). Replace worn components.
