How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and be prepared for water spillage when opening filters or hoses.
- Clean pump filter: As with wash drain issues, clean the pump filter thoroughly.
- Check condenser drain: Locate the small hose or channel that carries condensed water from the dryer section to the pump or sump. Clear any lint or sludge.
- Inspect internal hoses: Ensure the condenser drain hose is not kinked or disconnected.
- Test pump during drying: Start a drying cycle and listen for the pump operating intermittently. If it does not run, the pump or control may be faulty and require replacement.
