Possible Causes
Low incoming water temperature, Faulty wash heater or NTC sensor, Excessive suds causing extra rinses, Load sensing miscalibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before internal checks.
- Check water temperature: If connected to cold only, long heating times are normal on some programs. Verify that the heater is working by feeling for warmth on the door during a hot wash.
- Use correct detergent: Overdosing can cause excessive foam, leading the machine to add extra rinses. Use the recommended amount of HE detergent.
- Inspect heater and NTC: If cycles never heat properly, test the wash heater and NTC sensor as described in the E05 entry.
- Reset machine: Unplug for 5 minutes to reset the control. If long cycles persist with normal loads, a technician may need to check sensors and PCB.
