Excessive Vibration / Installation Fault
Washer-dryer vibrates excessively and moves across the floor during spin

Possible Causes
Transit bolts not removed, Appliance not level, Worn suspension components, Weak or flexible flooring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before tilting or adjusting feet.
- Check transit bolts: Ensure all shipping bolts at the rear of the drum have been removed according to the Rangemaster installation instructions. Leaving them in will cause severe vibration.
- Level the unit: Adjust the front and rear feet so the washer-dryer is level and stable. Use a spirit level and lock the feet in place.
- Inspect suspension: Check shock absorbers and springs for wear as described in other entries. Replace if necessary.
- Floor reinforcement: If installed on a weak wooden floor, consider adding a solid board under the machine to distribute weight and reduce flex.
