Possible Causes
Leaking door gasket, Loose hose clamp on tub or pump, Cracked drain hose, Faulty inlet valve or dispenser hose leaking
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and turn off water supply immediately to prevent further leakage. Be cautious of water on the floor causing slip hazards.
- Inspect around the unit: Look for visible water under or around the washer-dryer combo. Mop up standing water.
- Access base pan: Remove the lower front panel or tilt the unit slightly (with assistance) to inspect the base. Many models have a float switch that triggers E13 when water collects.
- Identify leak source: With the rear panel removed, visually inspect the door gasket, tub-to-pump hose, pump housing, drain hose, and inlet hoses while briefly running a fill and drain (only if safe and with someone watching).
- Tighten and reseat: Tighten any loose hose clamps and reseat hoses fully onto their fittings.
- Replace damaged parts: If you find a cracked hose or torn gasket, replace it before using the machine again.
- Reset leak sensor: After fixing the leak, dry the base pan completely and ensure the float switch is dry and moves freely. Reassemble and test.
