Possible Causes

Clogged inlet mesh filter at Roborock water valve, Partially closed household water tap, Failed Roborock dual water inlet valve coil, Kinked or pinched inlet hose

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the Roborock washer-dryer combo and close the water supply taps before working on hoses or valves.

  • Check household water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps feeding the Roborock unit are fully open and that other faucets in the home have normal pressure.
  • Inspect inlet hoses: Pull the unit forward slightly, verify that the inlet hoses are not kinked or crushed against the wall. Straighten any sharp bends.
  • Clean inlet filters: Turn off water taps, unscrew the hoses from the rear of the Roborock combo. At the valve inlets you will see small mesh filters. Gently pull them out with needle-nose pliers, rinse under running water, and reinstall.
  • Test fill again: Reconnect hoses, open taps, plug the unit back in, and run a quick wash. If E1 returns quickly, the Roborock dual water inlet valve may have a failed coil or internal blockage.
  • Advanced check (for experienced DIYers): With power disconnected, remove the top cover, locate the Roborock water inlet valve assembly, and test coil resistance with a multimeter. Replace the valve assembly if coils are open or if the valve is mechanically stuck.
