Possible Causes
Shorted Roborock NTC sensor, Open-circuit NTC sensor, Damaged wiring harness to NTC, Faulty main control board analog input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before touching internal components.
- Access NTC sensor: Remove the rear panel and locate the Roborock NTC sensor mounted in the tub or heater housing.
- Inspect connector: Check for loose or corroded pins. Reseat the connector firmly.
- Measure resistance: At room temperature, measure the NTC resistance with a multimeter. Compare to Roborock specifications; a reading of infinite or near 0 Ω indicates failure.
- Check wiring: Trace the harness from the NTC to the main board for cuts or pinches.
- Replace if faulty: Install a new Roborock NTC temperature sensor if readings are out of range. If sensor and wiring are good, the main PCB may require replacement.
