Possible Causes
Contaminated Roborock moisture sensor bars, Broken or disconnected moisture sensor wiring, Failed moisture sensor module, Faulty main control board sensor circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before cleaning internal sensor contacts.
- Locate sensor bars: Inside the drum, identify the two metal strips (Roborock moisture sensor bars) usually mounted near the front.
- Clean sensor surfaces: Using a soft cloth and a bit of white vinegar or mild detergent, thoroughly clean the bars to remove fabric softener residue and lint. Dry completely.
- Check wiring (advanced): Remove the front panel to access the back of the sensor bars. Ensure the wiring harness is firmly connected and not damaged.
- Test operation: Run a timed dry and then an automatic dry cycle. If E13 persists, the moisture sensor assembly or control board may need replacement.
