Possible Causes
Single heavy item causing imbalance, Mixed heavy and light items, Worn Roborock suspension dampers, Worn Roborock tub springs
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Wait for the door to unlock before opening. Do not force the door.
- Redistribute the load: Open the door and separate tangled items. Add a few extra items (e.g., towels) to balance a single heavy piece like a blanket.
- Reduce load size: Remove some items if the drum is overfilled. The Roborock combo needs space to balance the load.
- Run spin again: Select a spin-only cycle and observe. If the machine still shakes excessively and E4 reappears, internal suspension may be weak.
- Check leveling: Ensure the Roborock unit is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust the front feet and lock the jam nuts.
- Advanced inspection: With power off, remove the rear or top panel and inspect the Roborock shock absorbers and tub springs for oil leakage, detachment, or damage. Replace worn components if the tub bounces excessively.
