Possible Causes
Failed Roborock door lock assembly, Misaligned door latch hook, Damaged door strike, Loose wiring to door lock
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working around the door lock. Do not bypass the door lock for operation.
- Check door closure: Ensure no clothing is trapped between the door seal and glass. Firmly close the door until you hear a positive click.
- Inspect door latch: Examine the metal or plastic door strike on the door and the latch opening on the cabinet. Look for cracks, bending, or misalignment.
- Power reset: Unplug the Roborock combo for 5 minutes, then reconnect and try again. Sometimes the control board needs a reset.
- Access door lock: Remove the front retaining band from the door gasket and peel back the seal to access the Roborock door lock assembly. Check the wiring connector for looseness or corrosion.
- Replace if faulty: If the lock does not engage (no click) when starting a cycle and wiring is intact, replace the Roborock door lock assembly.
