Possible Causes
Water remaining in drum, Faulty Roborock door lock mechanism, Control board not sending unlock signal, Blocked pressure sensor keeping lock engaged
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not force the door open; this can damage the lock and hinge.
- Wait a few minutes: Some models delay unlocking for safety. Wait 2–5 minutes after cycle end.
- Check for water: If water is visible, run a drain/spin cycle. If it will not drain, clean the drain filter.
- Power reset: Unplug the Roborock combo for 5 minutes, then reconnect and see if the lock releases.
- Emergency release: Many models have a manual door release near the drain filter. Pull it gently to open the door.
- Replace lock if recurring: If the problem repeats, replace the Roborock door lock assembly.
