Possible Causes

Clogged air hose to pressure sensor, Faulty water level sensor, Loose wiring harness at pressure sensor, Main PCB sensing circuit fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer-dryer combo and turn off both hot and cold water supply valves before inspecting internal parts.

Steps to check and correct:

  • Power reset: Disconnect power for 5 minutes, then reconnect and try a quick wash cycle. Sometimes a transient sensor error clears with a reset.
  • Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover (usually two or three screws at the back). Locate the round water level sensor (pressure switch) on the side frame or near the top. Check the thin rubber or plastic air hose running from the bottom of the tub to the sensor for kinks, cracks, or disconnections. Re-seat both ends firmly.
  • Clear blockages: If the hose is clogged with detergent residue or lint, remove it and gently blow through it or rinse it with warm water. Ensure it is completely clear and reinstall securely.
  • Check wiring: Inspect the wiring harness connector at the pressure sensor and at the main PCB for loose plugs, corrosion, or damaged wires. Reseat connectors until they click.
  • Test a cycle: Reassemble the top cover, restore power and water, and run a rinse & spin cycle to see if the error returns.

When to stop: If 1E persists after hose and wiring checks, the pressure sensor or main PCB is likely faulty. Replacement of these components should be done by a qualified technician due to calibration and electrical safety concerns.
