  • Locate the service flap at the bottom front of the machine.
  • Open it and pull out the emergency drain hose (if fitted); drain water into a tray.
  • Unscrew the pump filter cap slowly to release remaining water.
  • Remove lint, coins, buttons, and other debris from the filter and pump cavity.
• 2. Inspect the pump impeller:
  • Look inside the pump housing and gently turn the impeller with your fingers.
  • If it is jammed or very stiff, remove any trapped objects (e.g., bra wires, hairpins).
  • If the impeller is loose on the shaft or wobbly, the pump may need replacement.
• 3. Check the drain hose:
  • Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or crushed behind the machine.
  • Disconnect the hose from the standpipe or sink trap and flush it with water to clear blockages.
  • Check the sink trap for clogs if connected there.
• 4. Test the drain pump (advanced):
  • Remove the rear or bottom panel to access the pump.
  • Inspect wiring and connectors for burns or loose contacts.
  • Measure pump coil resistance; if open or shorted, replace the pump.
