Possible Causes

Leaking drain pump or hose, Split tub-to-pump hose, Leaking inlet valve or AquaStop hose, Loose hose clamp inside cabinet

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap immediately. Beware of water around electrical parts.

Step-by-step checks:

  • 1. Drain and dry the base:
    • Carefully pull the machine forward.
    • Tilt it slightly backward or forward (with assistance) to allow water to drain from the base tray.
    • Remove side or rear panels and dry the base thoroughly with towels.
  • 2. Identify the leak source:
    • Visually inspect all hoses: inlet, tub-to-pump, pump-to-drain, and internal recirculation hoses.
    • Check the drain pump body and seals for drips.
    • Inspect the door seal and front of the tub for leaks during a short fill test (supervised).
  • 3. Repair or replace leaking components:
    • Tighten or replace hose clamps.
    • Replace cracked hoses or leaking pump assemblies.
    • If the AquaStop hose is leaking, replace the complete AquaStop hose assembly.

When to call a technician: If the leak source is not obvious or involves the tub or heat exchanger, professional service is strongly recommended.
