Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, Faulty motor, Loose motor connector, Seized drum bearings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing panels.
- Check drum by hand: Open the door and try to rotate the drum manually. If it is jammed or very stiff, bearings or a foreign object may be the cause.
- Inspect drive belt: Remove the rear panel and check if the belt is still on the motor and drum pulleys. If broken or off, replace or refit the belt.
- Check motor wiring: Ensure the motor plug is fully seated and wires are intact.
- Test motor: If the belt is fine and the drum turns freely, the motor may be faulty and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
