Possible Causes
Unbalanced load repeatedly aborting high spin, Blocked drain pump or filter, Worn motor brushes, Faulty pressure switch not detecting empty tub
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before cleaning filters.
- Check drain: Clean the drain pump filter and ensure the drain hose and standpipe are clear so water can be fully pumped out.
- Balance load: Redistribute laundry and avoid mixing heavy items with light ones.
- Run spin-only: Select a spin-only program to see if the machine can reach full speed with a smaller, balanced load.
- Inspect motor brushes: If the motor struggles to accelerate, check and replace worn brushes on brushed motors.
- Pressure switch: If the machine thinks water remains in the tub, it may block spin. Inspect and clean the pressure system as described for E10.
