Speed Queen
Fill/Drain Conflict Error
Display shows Er12 and washer fills and drains repeatedly without progressing

Possible Causes
Drain hose siphoning water out during fill, Pressure sensor miscalibration, Control board logic fault, Incorrect drain hose installation height
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before adjusting hoses behind the machine.
- 1. Check drain hose height: Ensure the drain hose is installed at the correct height per Speed Queen specs (typically 30–96 inches above floor). A hose too low can cause siphoning.
- 2. Verify hose insertion: The hose should not be sealed airtight into the standpipe. Leave an air gap to prevent siphon.
- 3. Inspect for improper routing: Avoid running the hose to a floor drain or below the washer's water level.
- 4. Pressure sensor check: Inspect the pressure hose and sensor as in Er8. Replace if faulty.
- 5. Control reset: After correcting installation, unplug for 5–10 minutes, then run a small load to confirm normal fill and drain behavior.
