How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and prepare for water spillage when opening hoses or pump.
- 1. Inspect external hose: Check the drain hose for kinks or partial blockages. Straighten and flush if needed.
- 2. Access pump and hoses: Remove the lower front or rear panel to reach the pump and tub-to-pump hose.
- 3. Clear obstructions: Remove the tub-to-pump hose and check for socks, coins, or lint blocking flow. Clean the pump inlet and outlet.
- 4. Pump performance: If the pump is noisy or weak, replace the drain pump with an OEM Speed Queen pump.
- 5. Test drain: Reassemble and run a drain & spin cycle to verify full drainage.
