Possible Causes
Hot water supply valve closed, Clogged hot inlet screen, Failed hot water valve coil, Misconfigured temperature settings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off water and unplug the unit before removing hoses.
- 1. Verify hot supply: Ensure the hot water faucet feeding the washer is fully open and hot water is available at nearby taps.
- 2. Clean inlet screen: Remove the hot water hose from the washer and clean the screen inside the hot valve.
- 3. Test valve coil: With power off, measure resistance of the hot valve coil. Replace the water inlet valve assembly if the coil is open.
- 4. Check settings: Confirm the selected cycle is not set to cold-only or eco modes that limit hot water.
