Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, Faulty motor or motor relay, Seized drum bearings, Obstruction preventing drum rotation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before accessing the rear panel or drum.
- Check drum by hand: Try rotating the drum manually. If it is stuck or very stiff, there may be a bearing or obstruction issue.
- Inspect belt: Remove the rear panel and verify the drive belt is intact and on both pulleys. Replace the drive belt if broken or stretched.
- Look for obstructions: Check between the drum and front gasket for trapped items that could jam the drum.
If the belt is good and the drum turns freely but does not tumble during drying, the motor or control board should be tested by a technician.
