Washer-dryer combo emits a clicking or rattling noise from the pump area, especially during drain.

Safety first: Unplug the unit and be prepared for water when opening the pump filter.

• Clean pump filter: Access the drain pump filter behind the lower front panel. Slowly open and remove the filter, catching water in a shallow pan.
• Remove foreign objects: Inspect the pump cavity and impeller for coins, screws, or other debris. Remove carefully.
• Check impeller: Spin the impeller by hand; it should turn smoothly. If blades are broken or impeller is loose on the shaft, replace the drain pump assembly.
