Safety first: Use cleaning agents according to manufacturer instructions and ensure good ventilation.

• Run cleaning cycle: Run an empty hot wash with a washer cleaner tablet or 1–2 cups of white vinegar (if permitted by Summit) to break down residue.
• Clean gasket: Wipe the door gasket folds with a cloth soaked in mild detergent or diluted bleach solution. Remove lint and slime.
• Leave door ajar: After each use, leave the door slightly open to allow the interior to dry and prevent mold growth.
• Check drain: Clean the drain pump filter to ensure water fully drains after cycles.
