Possible Causes
Loose clamp on tub-to-pump hose, Cracked drain hose, Leaking drain pump housing, Over-tightened or damaged hose connection at rear
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off water supply. Be prepared for water spillage when opening panels.
- Inspect rear connections: Pull the unit forward and check the inlet and drain hose connections at the back. Tighten any loose hose clamps and replace washers if needed.
- Check drain hose: Examine the entire length of the drain hose for cracks or pinholes. Replace the drain hose if damaged.
- Access internal hoses: Remove the rear or lower front panel to inspect the tub-to-pump and pump-to-drain hoses. Look for wet spots, mineral trails, or drips while running a short fill/drain test (with panels loosely in place and extreme caution).
- Replace leaking components: Tighten or replace hose clamps, and replace any hose or pump housing that shows signs of leakage.
If you cannot safely locate the leak, contact a technician to perform a pressure and dye test.
