Possible Causes
Unbalanced load causing spin cancellation, Clogged drain pump filter, Worn drive belt slipping, Faulty motor or tachometer sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before accessing the drain filter or rear panel.
- Redistribute and re-spin: Open the door, redistribute the load, and run a spin-only cycle.
- Clean drain filter: Access and clean the drain pump filter as described for E2. Poor drainage can prevent high-speed spin.
- Inspect belt: Remove the rear panel and check the drive belt for wear or looseness. Replace if slipping.
- Check spin settings: Ensure the selected program is not set to a low spin speed or no-spin option.
If spin remains weak, motor or control issues should be diagnosed by a technician.
