Possible Causes
Clogged inlet water filter screens, Faulty water inlet valve, Low or no water supply pressure, Wiring or control fault to inlet valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water supply taps.
- Check household water supply: Ensure the cold (and hot, if used) water taps feeding the Teka combo are fully open. Verify water pressure by briefly disconnecting the hose and running it into a bucket.
- Clean inlet filters: Turn off taps, unscrew the inlet hoses from the back of the machine. Inside the valve ports you will see small mesh filters. Carefully pull them out with needle-nose pliers, rinse under running water, and reinstall.
- Inspect hoses: Check for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage in the inlet hoses. Replace if swollen or damaged.
- Test the inlet valve (advanced): With power disconnected, remove the top cover. Locate the water inlet valve assembly. Check the wiring connectors are secure. Measure coil resistance with a multimeter; an open circuit coil indicates a failed valve that must be replaced.
- Reassemble and test: Reconnect hoses, open taps, restore power, and run a quick wash to confirm normal filling.
Warning: If the valve is receiving power but not opening, or if the PCB is not sending voltage, further diagnosis by a technician is recommended.
