Washer-dryer shows E08 and may not start or may stop mid-cycle; sometimes associated with door or safety issues.

Safety first: Disconnect power before inspecting wiring or control components.

• Reset the appliance: Unplug for 5–10 minutes to discharge internal capacitors, then reconnect and try a short program. Transient faults may clear.
• Inspect door lock wiring: Remove the front gasket clamp and access the door lock. Check that the connector is tight and wires are not pinched or broken.
• Check for moisture: Look for signs of water ingress around the door lock and front panel. Dry any moisture and correct leaks from the door seal.
• Secure the mains connection: Ensure the power plug and wall socket are in good condition and firmly connected. Avoid extension leads.

Warning: Persistent E08 errors often indicate a control board issue. PCB repair or replacement should be carried out by a qualified technician due to live mains circuitry.
