Possible Causes
Open or shorted dryer NTC sensor, Loose connector on dryer NTC, Damaged wiring harness in drying circuit, PCB sensor input fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool fully.
- Access dryer NTC: Remove the top cover. The dryer NTC is usually mounted on the hot air duct or near the dryer heater assembly.
- Check connections: Ensure the NTC plug is firmly seated and free of corrosion.
- Measure resistance: At room temperature, measure the NTC resistance with a multimeter. Compare with Teka specifications (commonly several kΩ). An open circuit or near-zero reading indicates a faulty sensor.
- Replace if necessary: Remove the retaining clip or screw, swap in a new Teka-compatible dryer NTC, and reconnect wiring.
Warning: If the NTC tests correctly but E11 persists, the control board may be at fault and should be checked by a technician.
