Possible Causes

Loose connection between display board and main PCB, Faulty user interface (UI) board, Damaged communication cable, Main PCB communication fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the control panel.

  • Power reset: Leave the machine unplugged for 10 minutes, then reconnect and test. This can clear transient communication faults.
  • Inspect UI connections: Remove the top cover and, if necessary, the front control fascia. Check that ribbon cables and connectors between the UI and main PCB are fully seated.
  • Check for moisture: Look for condensation or detergent residue behind the control panel. Dry carefully and correct any leaks from the detergent drawer.

Warning: If E15 persists, either the UI board or main PCB may need replacement. This should be diagnosed and performed by a Teka service technician.
