How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off and unplug the appliance. Do not force the door open.
- Wait for safety delay: After the cycle ends, wait at least 2–3 minutes for the lock to release. Some models have a built-in delay.
- Manual release: Access the emergency door release (often a pull cord near the pump filter behind the lower flap). Pull gently to unlock the door.
- Inspect door hardware: Check the handle and latch hook for cracks or deformation. Replace if damaged.
- Check door lock: Access the door lock from behind the front panel and ensure it is securely mounted and wiring is intact. Replace the lock if it remains mechanically stuck.
