Possible Causes
Excessive detergent or wrong detergent type, Overloaded drum, Worn shock absorbers causing vibration, Faulty unbalance detection algorithm or sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If the machine is vibrating heavily, press power to stop and unplug before inspecting.
- Check detergent use: Use only HE (high-efficiency) detergent and follow Teka dosage guidelines. Reduce quantity if you see excessive suds on the door glass.
- Redistribute load: Open the door when safe and redistribute heavy items (e.g., towels, blankets). Remove some items if the drum is tightly packed.
- Run a rinse/spin: Select a rinse and spin cycle to clear foam and allow the machine to rebalance.
- Inspect suspension (advanced): If unbalance errors are frequent, check shock absorbers and springs for leaks or wear. Replace worn dampers.
Warning: Persistent unbalance can damage the tub and bearings. If mechanical parts appear worn, schedule professional service.
