Possible Causes
Partially blocked drain pump, Obstructed drain hose or standpipe, Foreign object in tub-to-pump hose, Weak drain pump motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and prepare for water spillage.
- Clean pump filter: Open the lower front flap, drain residual water, and remove the pump filter. Clean thoroughly.
- Check tub-to-pump hose: From the bottom/front access, squeeze the large black hose between tub and pump. If it feels blocked, remove and clear any socks or debris.
- Inspect drain hose: Ensure the hose is not kinked and is installed at the correct height. Flush with water to remove internal buildup.
- Test pump performance: Run a drain-only program and listen. A loud humming with little water movement suggests a failing pump that should be replaced.
Warning: Do not ignore slow drainage; it can lead to overflows and further errors.
