Possible Causes
Stuck or blocked detergent drawer, Clogged dispenser nozzles, Faulty multi-way water distribution valve, Wiring fault to dispenser valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close water taps.
- Clean detergent drawer: Pull out the drawer fully and press the release tab to remove. Soak in warm water and scrub away detergent buildup, especially around siphon caps.
- Clean dispenser housing: Use a brush to clean the water jets and channels inside the housing.
- Check water flow: With the drawer removed and machine on a rinse cycle (caution: live voltage), briefly observe water flow into the dispenser. If weak or misdirected, the distribution valve may be faulty.
- Inspect valve (with power off): Access the multi-way valve from the top, check connectors, and test coil resistance. Replace if open circuit or mechanically stuck.
Warning: Work around live water and electricity only if you are competent. Otherwise, limit yourself to cleaning and call a technician for valve diagnostics.
